Legal Interim Manager

As a Legal Interim Manager at Aviapartner, you will be responsible for providing legal support and advice. 

You will be working at Group level and will be reporting directly to the General Counsel of the Group. 

You will play a key role in managing contracts, mitigating legal risks and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

You will be responsible for:

• Legal advice: Providing proactive and pragmatic legal advice to management on a wide variety of legal matters.
• Contract review: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, such as agreements with airlines, suppliers and partners.
• Corporate housekeeping: For our various legal entities.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to local and international laws and regulations.
• Dispute management: Handling legal disputes and coordinating with external law firms when necessary.
• Ad-hoc support: Contributing to special projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructurings, setting up in new countries or stations and addressing other legal issues as they arise.
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and operations, to align legal strategies with business objectives.

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented legal professional with excellent communication skills and a hands-on mentality. You thrive in a dynamic environment. Affinity for the aviation sector is a plus.

• A Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience as an in-house counsel or bar lawyer, preferably in an international or commercial environment.
• Knowledge of contract and corporate law/generalist experience.
• Excellent command of English, Dutch and/or French (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
• Independent and self-starter.
• Flexible and resilient, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with interim assignments is an advantage.
